What is Keystone AI?

Keystone AI is a conversational assistant built directly into your workspace. It has full context of your company’s data — loans, employees, pay periods, analytics — and can answer questions, surface insights, generate reports, and execute high-stakes operations on your behalf. It is not a generic chatbot. It knows who your loan officers are, what’s in your pipeline, how commissions are structured, and what happened yesterday. Every response is scoped to your company.

How to open it

Click the chat button in the bottom-right corner of any page, or press ⌘K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows) from anywhere in the app.

What you can do

Ask questions about your pipeline

Ask about loan status, stuck loans, volume, or anything else in your pipeline using plain language:
  • “Which loans haven’t moved in two weeks?”
  • “Show me all FHA loans pending conditions.”
  • “What did we fund last month?”

Get analytics and production data

Ask for breakdowns, comparisons, and summaries across any time range:
  • “Show me last quarter’s funded volume by loan officer.”
  • “What’s our month-to-date broker comp?”
  • “Which LO has the highest close rate this year?”
Charts are rendered inline in the chat and can be exported as PNG or saved directly to your Analytics dashboard.

Look up employees and lenders

  • “What loans is Sarah Chen currently working on?”
  • “Who are our top producers this quarter?”
AI responses include interactive entity chips — click any loan number or employee name in a response to jump directly to that record.

Take action

Keystone AI can do more than answer questions. For high-stakes operations, it presents a confirmation card so you can review before anything is committed:
  • Finalize a pay period
  • Send commission approval emails to employees
See Action Cards below for how these work.

Commission and payroll queries

Admins can ask about pay periods, commission results, and individual employee earnings:
  • “Finalize payroll for the current pay period.”
  • “What did James Patterson earn in commissions last month?”
  • “Show me everyone with a draw balance going into next period.”

Export data

Ask the AI to generate a CSV or PDF of any data set and it will prepare a download link for you:
  • “Export a summary of funded loans for Q1.”
  • “Give me a CSV of all open loans assigned to Kevin.”

Daily briefing

When you open the AI panel, you’ll see a Yesterday’s Summary card showing:
  • How many loans funded the previous day and total volume
  • How many loans are stuck (haven’t moved in 5+ days)
  • How many new tasks came in
Below that, any active alerts appear — such as loans with expiring rate locks or loans that have been stuck for an unusually long time. These are color-coded by urgency.

Daily email digest

Every morning, Keystone sends a brief email digest to all team members summarizing the previous day’s activity — funded loans, pipeline highlights, and anything that needs attention. No setup required.

Action cards

Certain operations require a confirmation step before they execute. When you ask the AI to perform one of these actions, it shows you a preview of what will happen and waits for you to confirm. This protects against accidental changes to finalized records or mass-communications being sent prematurely. Once you confirm, the action executes immediately and the result is reflected in the app.

Command Palette (⌘K)

Pressing ⌘K opens a unified search and AI launcher:
  • Search — instantly search across loans, employees, lenders, and resources
  • AI mode — if your query doesn’t match a search result, press Enter to send it directly to the AI and get a streaming response inline
The command palette also shows your recent conversations and a set of role-based prompt chips tailored to your position — admins, loan officers, processors, and back-office staff each see suggestions relevant to their day.

Privacy and compliance

Keystone AI is built to meet GLBA requirements for financial services data. Client data is never used to train AI models. All AI requests that involve client information are processed with zero data retention at the model provider level.
